Junes meeting will be held at the shop at 7:00 on Tuesday June 8th.

There has been a suggestion that with the summer months coming up that we could have our meeting at members houses instead of at different bars or the shop. Jay, Kevin and myself offered our houses so if anyone else would like to host a meeting please let me know which month works for you.

With Home Brew Day on the first, we havent decided if we will have a regular monthly meeting. If you still want one i will set something up with Jay.

Folks, I'm working on cleaning this up. The problem was that the settings were that people could sign up for accounts without any sort of validation that they were a real person.

I've changed it to where all new accounts need approval. I'm going to get a ton of bogus requests for new accounts, but that's my problem. The hopes are that these die off over time. If not, I'll figure something out.

It's going to take me a couple of days to clean up the junk and garbage accounts that are out there. Please be patient!

Big Brew Celebrating National Homebrew Day

Each year the AHA finds two or three recipes to highlight for Big Brew. Then hundreds of homebrewers register their Big Brew locations (see Site Registration) for a communal brew-in to celebrate National Homebrew Day. They invite family and friends, or hang posters and flyers around town to advertise their brewing site. Then on the first Saturday in May (May 1, 2010) everyone congregates at the brewing site early enough to join in a collective toast at noon Central time and get on with the brewing.

We will be meeting at Portofinos in Wyandotte at 7PM. This is the night of the Wyandotte fireworks. Please bring the family. We have reservations for 80...lets take advantage. Any suggestions on beer, please let me know (Jason)

It is 20 degrees out and I am talking about the 4th of July. Go figure. However, Jay has reserved the deck of the Portifino restaurant for our club and family menbers to see the Wyandotte fireworks. The cost will be $10 for the buffet. There will be more info and reminders as we get closer to July.

This months meeting will be at the shop on Monday, Feb. 8. at 7:00. The reason is to get our club only competition beer in on time.
